BOB DOWNE (the comic creation of Mark Trevorrow) co-wrote (with Gina Riley and Glenn Butcher) a musical game show cabaret, PICK A HIT, which played at the Last Laugh in Melbourne for six months in 1988-89 - the seond longest running show ever at the legendary comedy venue. Here Bob appears on Bert Newton's short-lived midday show on Channel 7, singing SURRENDER. Appearing with Bob are David and Sue-Ellen, his lovely PICK A HIT dancers. |
