itsliz89 ::: Favorites  2007-11-08 21:14:29 I personally prefer synthetic brushes as long as they are soft. Other people like natural hairs better. It's all preference I guess, but from my experience, synthetic brushes shed way less if ever. __________________________________________________

Maybe I have a sensitive nose but the MAC MA I talked to noticed the smell too. They have this strong wooden smell mixed with plastic that made me want to puke. I tried washing them of course but the smell was still there so back to the store they went. __________________________________________________

They are not original Smashbox brushes though because the originals are red and black and have natural hair, not synthetic. This is a limited edition set :(. $84 for all the brushes. __________________________________________________
