Maybe I have a sensitive nose but the MAC MA I talked to noticed the smell too. They have this strong wooden smell mixed with plastic that made me want to puke. I tried washing them of course but the smell was still there so back to the store they went. __________________________________________________ | |

They are not original Smashbox brushes though because the originals are red and black and have natural hair, not synthetic.
