Description:

This episode explores the label of the word Whore and its placement on both men & women if engaging in sex on the first night or living a sexually promiscuous lifestyle. Sex refers to the male and female duality of biology and reproduction. Often, individuals of the two sexes attract one another and communicate their readiness to procreate through biological changes, or, in social species, through courtship behaviours. An organism's sex is defined by its biological role in reproduction, not according to its sexual or other behavior. The female sex is defined as the one which produces the larger gamete and which typically bears the offspring. In contrast, the male sex has a smaller gamete and rarely bears offspring. Prostitution is when money is the critical motivation for some activity. On the other hand, selling sex for money, or "whoring" can be done in truth and appropriateness, through very selective choice of customers. There are quite a few who whore who are not prostitutes, for they actually love what they do, and would continue to engage in promiscuous sex even without the monetary reward. One who whores,is one who allows themself to be monetarily rewarded in addition to a fundamentaly appropriate choice of having sex with someone she would have sex with even without monetary reward. Yes, it is true that much whoring is prostitution, but it is essential to understand, that while most people and most law fails to make this distinction, that there truly is a distinction, and only the one whoring can know in the moment, whether she is for a given session, "whoring" or "prostituting". In many cases a fancy name for a legal whore is "wife". Many women, disempowed by the patriarchal system, seek to have their survival needs (money) met by one consistent trick (named "husband"). Sacred Sex is a concept much suppressed in what passes for current "culture".

But back to the video at hand, "whore" doesn't come up into my mind with loose women. I try to view both loose women and loose men as loose people. But I sho' wouldn't want a daughter of mine to get wild and loose sexually, cause it could mean the involvement of yet another "little" lifeform! Not that the son is a neuter or anything, but 9 times out of 10 the girl is the one stuck with the full load of responsibilities in caring for the child.

Every prophet in the bible had more than one wife. There is already an imbalance in the world with the fact that there are more women than men period. Ask any man what their fantasy is and see if they dont say sex with more than one woman. The polygamous aspect of the man is supposed to be about responsibility and care for the woman. Since there are more women in the world than men, if every man was monogamous, many somen would not get the opportunity to experience a marriage relationship.

Interesting reasoning! Women and men are simply different--EQUALS, but nonetheless DIFFERENT. You know, I read somewhere that most women consider it a vulnerable position the act of intercourse; thus they are more discriminating than men when it comes to choosing who they will sleep with. That is why guys have to be more persistent with most women. They must achieve some level of trust. I'd say women definitely have a somewhat different emotional make-up.

Furthermore, it is clear that traditional Bushman deviated from traditional gender roles and behaviors in some aspects, which was my point all along. Work duties are one part of life. Socialization is another. Our children tend to segregate themselves by gender and are conditioned to embrace and repress certain emotions or behaviors based on what we promote as acceptable for members of that gender. I provided examples of Traditional Bushman child-rearing that were in opposition to this.

Perhaps you should follow the conversation before you accuse others of being uninformed. I initially replied to a comment by egypt and stated that our society heavily influences what we find acceptable or repulsive. Egypt then asked if I believe that people in other parts of the world, not influenced by media, treated their children DIFFERENTLY, i.e., their roles. As she asked for differences, why would I reference aspects of Bushmen society/culture that followed traditional roles?
