Description:

This is just an uneducated opinion (as in, 'I don't know a lot about audio techonology', and not 'I'm an idiot'), but I am somewhat picky with what music should sound like. It's just a couple of things I noticed about the sound of the two headphones.

The 280 pros are not surround, but they are closed ear headphones, which cancels outside noise, but makes your ears sweat. I know that audio technica some great heaphones. Tritton does also. Is noise cancelling a big deal? What is your price range?? All of these are questions only you have the answer to, young grasshopper. :)

One thing I know, is that these headphones are REALLY, REALLY good for gaming. Once you "play in" the headphones, the bass gets much better. Although they aren't surround, they're pretty damn close. BTW, will you be using these on a PC or an Xbox 360, and the like???

"burning in" new headphones (especially nice headphones like sennheier's) is absolutely no placebo, its real shit just gather up a small playlist of variety genres of tracks ranging form rap to rock to classical and set it to shuffle/loop, put it at an above average volume, and just let it play for a couple days straight when your not using it, and after there is most defenitly a noticible difference overall (especially bass, as u were saying they are weak right now)
