He has to take on candidates with 5 times more money than him who have been bought by special interest groups and the far right voting block that has the biggest influence over the who will be nominated to run on the Republican ticket. Corporations go bankrupt, when a government agency becomes ineffective, your taxes simply get raised. You never have any choice at all about paying the government, you have a choice with a corporation as long as it's a truly private corporations. Political power has the force of a gun behind it. Economic power (such as that possessed by WalMart) is merely the power to offer something in voluntary exchange for something else. It is only the role of government to restrain force, not wealth.
