Description:

Over the past several centuries, the Big Three spiritual leaders have been the Lords Christ, Krishna and Buddha, whose stories and teachings are curiously and confoundingly similar to each other. The tale of a miraculously born redeemer who overcomes heroic challenges, teaches ethics and morality, performs marvels and wonders, acquires disciples and is famed far and wide, to be persecuted, killed and reborn, is not unique but a global phenomenon recurring in a wide variety of cultures long before the Christian era. http://www.truthbeknown.com/

Ok, since you claim you majored in theology, let me test your knowledge: The image of the Roman Catholic Jesus, tell me the name of the symbol behind his head and where it originates. The hand gesture, tell me what it means? The face of Jesus, tell me, with archaeological evidences that it is really the face of Jesus. Kindly post your links and sources.

It's a pity with all the 4 years of hard work you couldn't even understand the world's religion. Have you ever touched Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism and the likes? I think you are more concentrated on Roman Catholic teachings rather than what the Bible said.

After majoring in theology at a Catholic university, I went on to graduate from a well-known four-year theological seminary. Ultimately I made the decision not to seek ordination because through my education I came to many of the same conclusions that Acharya S. presents in her work. I simply realized then that I would be perpetuating a lie to people every Sunday, and I just couldn't do that as a matter of conscience. Thank you, Tommytime8 and Acharya S. The truth DOES set us free. :-)

I not only believe, I believe with factual evidence to enhance more my faith in God.

Believe what you want, Brights2008. That's what "believers" do, after all.

In short, the Bible contains both, faith and fact. In faith, so that you believe without evidence. In fact, so that you believe.

People denouncing the Bible here and there actually don't have any solid foundation in science. They are only assuming based on their lack of understanding.

In a scientific analysis, this simply means a Solar Eclipse (sun to darkness) and a lunar eclipse (moon to blood). If you are not familiar of the moon turning red, then you lack scientific background. Go and do a research and you'll know why the moon turns red or the color of blood during a lunar eclipse. Most people don't have a clue at all.

For example, Acts 2:20 - The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. Now, reading the verse above, without a scientific background to analyze this, you'll get all sorts of funny laymen's translation. There's no standard.
