Description:
Media Matters for America released the findings of its first in-depth study, which indicates that conservative voices have significantly outnumbered progressive voices on the Sunday shows throughout former President Bill Clinton's second term (1997-2000), President George W. Bush's first term (2001-2004), and 2005. Watch Media Matters President and CEO David Brock speak at the National Press Club on February 14, 2006. |

AMERICANFUTURE ::: Favorites It is time to stop talking and take action. The first targets are the irresponsible members of the news media who are strangling our democracy. I call for all concerned patriotic Americans to assassinate these so-called journalists, the primary propaganda arm of this corrupt government. Those of you with the capacity and equipment, hear this call and accept your civic patriotic duty. Send a message to others to be responsible journalists. If you love this country, wake up before the round up. 06-12-06 19:15:46 _____________________________________________________
karam8 ::: Favorites you're a retard. Face the facts not your opinions 06-12-14 18:16:46 _____________________________________________________
Varix22 ::: Favorites Everyone screms there is either liberal bias or conservative bias. Why should anyone believe these guys or others. Everyone has research, and usually both have good figures. Also what about peer review. Have scholars looked looked at this, and what were those scholars bias? 07-01-08 14:19:29 _____________________________________________________
zpdd7 ::: Favorites Research on this topic that supports a conservative bias is largely based on media ownership and/or the opinions of the reporters as far as party affiliation, not actual content. This is a clear study about a narrow topic with ample evidence, 7000+. 07-02-14 02:48:36 _____________________________________________________
DynesTuba ::: Favorites Pretty nerdy stuff, but should be alarming to Americans. Lefties should be worried by the current imbalance. But, right wingers should be concerned of the future. I have no solution as I am against controls. So, I have said nothing. 07-03-08 12:54:05 _____________________________________________________
timbosforporn ::: Favorites Media Matters is probably controlled by democrats 07-05-30 17:32:21 _____________________________________________________
mrsmoose1478 ::: Favorites Aside from the fact that David Brock and Paul Waldman look almost exactly alike with their short haircuts and identical suits, the content of this report is very impressive. The problem, alas, is that it is not very exciting. I hate to say it, but in this age of flashy video and animation, the short attention span of most of our younger voters does not attract them to listen to speeches such as this one. 07-06-13 15:38:49 _____________________________________________________
mrsmoose1478 ::: Favorites I suppose what MediaMatters needs is a flashier front-person. Someone with a lot of personality and personal flair. I hope they find that person soon. This very important issue needs a boost! 07-06-13 15:40:27 _____________________________________________________ |
