Well, attacking other countries has only worked for son long. The dollar won't hold it's value forever and we're now seeing that.

In the long term China will be more wealthy than America. You said in the other video that the American savings rate was negative. In china I believe the savings rate is 20%.

You forgot to mention that the Euro is gaining popularity as an alternative to the dollar. Before Saddam Hussein was over thrown by our military, he was threatening to sell Iraq's oil in Euros. With the dollar plummeting value against the Euro, China is pondering whether they should convert their dollar currencies into Euros... Do you foresee another nuclear face-off?

OK, people are asking Auto-Makers to build GREEN cars, every corner of the world is talking about moving away from Gas running vehicles, because of the prices and enviroment, If this comes to pass, "What will happen to American economy?"

The answer to that depends upon what large American corporations decide to do right now and in the near future. Large companies like Exxon-Mobile, Ford, etc have the capital and ability to develop those new green technologies and thereby benefit when we shift into a new, green economy. Nearly all the major solar panel producers are owned by large oil companies currently, btw.

Those large oil, coal, car manufacturers etc can try to subdue the new technologies coming online by buying them up and/or burying them, only to contribute to the damage that will be done later when either the peak oil collapse goes beyond their control our public demand goes so far against them (this is where small American corporations could take advantage of that good old ingenuity).

Or they can choose to be the ones truly pushing those new technologies. Right now they aren't putting the R&D money into the places it needs to be, at least in the amounts it ought to be. In the mean time we'll just all have to do our own individual part to secure our own futures.
