BCviolin8290 ::: Favorites the book seems a lot less dramatic that the movie (at least to me) but i guess it's just to attract people who like watching the drama rather than bothering with reading the book. DragonStella ::: Favorites I adore the book..I think they could have done better with the movie, given their amazing cast and sets and wardrobes etc..it jumps around too much, especially from kid Chiyo to older Sayuri, and there are unnecissary inaccuracies, like the price of her mizuage. :/ Also, while the actress who plays Sayuri is amazing, they really pissed off a lot of people by casting a Chinese woman.. pointlessly, as there are many talented Japanese actresses who could have pulled off this role, I'm sure. 07-10-12 18:58:24 __________________________________________________
